Weavers working at a carpet loom in India

How it's made

Why we make you wait

Your runner does not sit on a shelf. Nobody has made it yet. Each one is woven on a hand loom to your length and width, then edged by hand.

  1. Day 1

    We check your stairs

A quick call or photo check of your measurements before anything is cut.

  2. Week 1

    Your yarn is dyed

Wool is dyed in your colour and the loom is set for your width.

  3. Weeks 2 to 4

    Woven by hand

We send you a photo of your runner on the loom.

  4. Week 5

    Edged and checked

Taped or whipped by hand. Measured twice.

  5. Weeks 6 to 8

    At your door

Shipped to the UK and delivered free, with a fitting guide and stair pads.
